On 1st of September BH Associates Director Nigel Heaps will be giving a presentation to the RGS International Conference.

In the “Evolution of the Nuclear Survivor Community – an internal perspective” Nigel will chart the development of the Brtitsh Nuclear Test Veterans Association from a group of former service personnel struggling to realise the full extent and impact their participation in the British nuclear tests of the 1950-60’s, to a successful charity that has united not just veterans and offspring in the UK but has reached out to the international community of service personnel and indigenous peoples who now live their lives within that community in the shadow of the bomb.

RGS_logoNigel says – “This is an incredible opportunity I have to share the story of our community with members of such a renown establishment.  My presentation will form part of a wider session at the conference linked to the Nuclear Comunity Charity Fund and in particular their Families Project being delivered by Southampton University with monies made available from libor fines through the Aged Veterans Fund.”
